I’m sure as a carnivore, the Museum of Ham would appeal to you. But you might need to start something a bit broader like a Museum of Meat!

That’s awesome that you had a place to stay in Amsterdam, but I can totally understand being nervous. You were a brave solo traveler!

I LOVE that there’s a “Museum of Ham.” That is perfect.

I remember doing laundry in Florence was tricky and time-consuming. I was so relieved when my little apartment in Siena had it’s own small front-loading washer, and a clothesline out the window!

I met a friend of my uncle’s when I visited Amsterdam. I’d never met her, but she and her family had me stay with them. She was wonderfully hospitable, but I remember being kind of nervous about being on my own in that city, and with people I really didn’t know!

I’m sure they sill serve it in Spain, just not at El Museo del Jamón. Serrano is from white pigs and ibérico is from Iberian pigs. Jamón ibérico only accounts for about 8% of Spain’s cured-ham production.

I always thought jamón ibérico was the best and most expensive ham in Spain. El Museo del Jamón doesn’t even have jamón serrano — http://www.museodeljamon.com/html/jamones.html

The “jamon” in Spain is the best, especially Jamon Serrano. My sweet heart is my “honey bun”
