Mr. HalfFull was trying to draw a parallel between the titles, “Mr. HalfFull’s Beautiful Day” and “Mr. E’s Beautiful Blues,” especially since the chorus is of the song is “it’s a beautiful day.” Don’t worry, I didn’t get it either. But now I know, and knowing is half the battle!

We couldn't drink and dial because we didn't have mobile phones for 10 weeks! We were off the grid. It was a bit difficult to meet up with people, but we had the coffee netbook for email and Skype.

I remember languagehat from Metafilter; thought that tidbit was very interesting.

And I followed your instructions about the Eels’ music. Liked it! Why, though, may I ask? Is that a song you listened to while on your trip? while you were writing this post? or do you feel like it encapsulates the feel of that day?
